Welcome to the Dr. Thomas Tanneberger Memorial website.  Founded in 1979, this scholarship was created in tribute to Tom’s memory. Annually a graduating senior that has demonstrated academic and athletic excellence is awarded a $4000 4-year scholarship in Tom’s name. In addition, an alternate receives a $500 award.

Each year we hold a basketball tournament in March and a Golf Tournament in June to raise money for this scholarship, however we welcome donations at anytime in the year.

It is only possible through the amazing support we receive each year that we can continue to offer this amazing scholarship to graduating seniors at Westport Central School.
