Since his accidental death in 1979, the Memorial Basketball and Golf Tournaments have been held annually in remembrance of Dr. Thomas Tanneberger. Each year a graduating senior that has demonstrated academic and athletic excellence is awarded a $4000 4-year scholarship in Tom’s name. In addition, an alternate receives a $500 award.
